Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of primefloorscolumbus.com and to communications with Prime Floors Columbus LLC. Work we perform for you is governed by the written estimate and contract you sign, which controls if anything here conflicts with it.

Estimates and pricing

• Prices shown on this website are estimates for typical jobs in our service area and are not an offer or a guaranteed price for your specific property.
• A binding price comes only from a written estimate we provide after measuring your home.
• Written estimates are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise.
• If conditions are discovered that could not reasonably be seen before work began, such as a damaged subfloor or hazardous material, we will stop, show you, and price the additional work in writing before continuing.

Scheduling, deposits and payment

• We collect the cost of materials before ordering them. The balance is due on completion, after you have walked the finished work with us.
• We accept bank transfer, check and major credit cards. A discount may be offered for payment by bank transfer or check, and will be shown on your estimate and invoice.
• Third-party financing may be available through a lender. Approval, terms and rates are determined by that lender, not by us.
• Past due balances may accrue interest at 1.5% per month.

Your right to cancel

If you sign a contract with us at your home, federal law gives you three business days to cancel. Your contract will include a written cancellation notice explaining how to do that.

Our work

• We warrant our installation and refinishing workmanship. The term and what it covers are stated in your contract.
• Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we will provide to you.
• Our warranty does not cover damage from water intrusion, abuse, improper maintenance, settling of the structure, or work performed by others.
• Wood is a natural material. Variation in grain, color and tone is normal and is not a defect.

Text messages

By giving us your mobile number you agree that we may contact you by text about your estimate, your project and your scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.

This website

• Content, photographs and the Prime Floors name and logo are our property. Please do not reproduce them without permission.
• Photographs show work we have performed. Results on your property will vary with its condition, the material chosen and its age.
• We try to keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors or always current.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of your use of this website is limited. Nothing here limits our obligations under the contract for work we perform for you, or any rights you have under Georgia or Alabama law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
